Story by Michael Kofi Kenetey.
The Acting Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Ghana Police Service in the Eastern Region, Sergeant Francis Gomado has mentioned that the current rampant crime in the region and the country as a whole is as a result of individuals failing to abide by the rules and regulations governing the country and thereby taking the law into their own hands.
He indicated that individuals instead of reporting cases to police for action to be taken rather flout the rules and terminates the lives of others.
In an exclusive interview, Sgt. Gomado however noted, that apart from individuals taking the lives of others, crimes such as armed robbery and stealing has been in a decline for the past weeks in the region.
