PRESIDENT ON EASTERN REGIONAL TOUR

The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo has urged the people of Kwahu to continue to believe in the NPP government to deliver on all promises made in 2016. 

The President, who is on a two-day tour of the Eastern Region said this at Nkawkaw during a durbar organized in his honour. President Akufo Addo said, a vote for the NPP is an assurance of the continuation of free SHS and other social intervention programs from the government. 

He urged Ghanaians to vote for him on merit of his achievements in the first term of his presidency and promised them of a better second term if he wins the December elections. 

For his part, the Member of Parliament for Abetifi and Minister of State at the Ministry of Interior, Bryan Yaw Acheampong assured Ghanaians that next month's General Elections will be very peaceful.

 Speaking on President Akufo Addo's tour of the Eastern Region, he cautioned any person or group of persons who would want to create violence during the elections to have a second thought.He said, the security agencies are well armed and prepared to ensure peace before, during and after the elections.

The President also addressed similar durbars at Anyinam, Kwabeng, Osino, Begoro and Tafo.
