NEW JUABEN NORTH NDC PARLIAMENTARY CANDIDATE DIES.



The 2020 Parliamentary Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for New Juaben North Constituency, Sampson Oti Boateng, is reported dead after a short illness.  The incident happened at the St. Joseph’s Orthopedic hospital in Koforidua, the Eastern Regional Capital. 


He defeated Emmanuel Kwaku Asante, the former MCE, by three hundred and16 to two hundred and 29 during the NDC’s primaries last year to become the party’s candidate for the 7th December parliamentary polls. 


He was to challenge the New Patriotic Party’s Kwasi Adjei-Boateng, a Deputy Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, for the seat. He was supposed to file for his nomination today while he embark on a house to house campaign before his sudden death. 

Mr. Oti Boateng, a 42-year-old Pharmacy Technician at the St. Joseph’s Orthopedic Hospital is reported to have died yesterday Morning. His death has come as a shock to the party ahead of the filing of nominations at the Electoral Commission.
