A Krobo chief has been enstooled at Akyem Amanfrom known as Wirenkyiren to be part of the traditional rulers and leader of all the krobos in the area yesterday. 

The newly enstool chief of the Krobo community in Akyem Amanfrom, Nene Mamiteye Addeyman swore an oath of allegiance to the Omanhene of Wirenkyiren Nana Barima Ofosuhene Preprah.

Speaking at the ceremony, Nana Barima Fosuhene, said it is a way to bring development into the community and also help deal with issues relating to Krobo members in the community.

 He advised the newly enstool chief to still remain committed to the community and continue his respect that warranted him been chosen as the chief of the Krobos in the community. 

In an interview with the Gyasehene of Wirenkyiren, Baffour Duah Dankwah Atta-Ofori lauded the idea of Barima Preprah of enstooling chiefs for the various ethnic groups in the community. 



He added that the vision of Barima Nana Fosuhene will promote development in the community.
