CONSIDER ORGANISING AWARDS PROGRMME IN EVERY TWO YEARS.
Story by Michael Kenetey.
The Eastern Regional Manager of Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA), Frederick Adjei-Rudolph said the industry should rather consider organizing their awards every two years rather than yearly in order to expand the scope of the awards. He said this on GBCSunrise FM Koforidua on the Events In Focus programme.
Mr. Adjei-Rudolph stated that the standards of the hospitality industry under the Ghana Tourism Authority(GTA) has fallen in the region. He said it ridiculous for the managers of hotels to wait for him to come and tell them that their bedsheets are old and there are cobwebs in the rooms.
