PREZ. AKUFO-ADDO ENDS EASTERN REGION TOUR
The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo has ended his three day tour of the Eastern Region with a call on Ghanaian voters to retain the New Patriotic Party(NPP) in power in the upcoming elections.
Speaking at a durbar at Asamankese, he also credited successes chalked up in the Year of Roads Agenda of the government to the leadership of the Minister of Roads and Highways, Kwasi Amoako Atta.
The President stated emphatically that Mr. Amoako Atta will go down in history as the best Roads and Highways Minister the country has ever had. He added that roads being constructed by his government are visible for all to see, and not only visible in a supposed Green Book.
At a similar durbar at Akwatia, he appealed to the Member of Parliament of the area, Ama Sey to reconsider her decision to contest as an independent candidate after losing the parliamentary primaries to Ernest Kumi.
