40-BED POLYCLINIC TO BE CONSTRUCTED AT JUMAPO AND KWAHU NKWATIA. 


The Deputy Minister of Health and Member of Parliament (MP) for Ledzokuku Krowor Constituency, Dr. Bernard Okoe Boye has cut the sod for the construction of a 40 capacity bed polyclinic at Jumapo in the New Juaben North Municipality and Nkwatia in the Kwahu-East District in the Eastern Region.

 Speaking at the separate ceremonies at Jumapo and Nkwatia, Dr. Okoe Boye said government has secured over 70 million Euros for the construction of 12 community hospitals across the country. 


He disclosed that the hospitals in Jumapo, Nkwatia and the other areas like Achiase, Manso-Nkwanta, Kwabeng when completed will each have 36-seater capacity waiting areas,counselling rooms, consulting rooms, outpatient department (OPD) section, surgical wards, and four labour wards among others. 

The Eastern Regional Minister, Eric Kwakye Darfour called on the people of Jumapo and Ghanaians in general to retain the NPP government and the MP for the area Nana Adjei Boateng and all MPs contesting on the ticket of NPP. 



 The Deputy Minister for Local government and Member of Parliament for New Juaben North Municipality, Nana Adjei Boateng expressed his gratitude to the President for the development projects undertaken so far in the Municipality under his administration. 
The Chief of Jumapo, Nana Oppong Owusu also thanked the government for deciding to construct a polyclinic in the area. He called on Ghanaians to renew the mandate of the government for another term come December. 


 The Chief of Kwahu Nkwatia, Nana Odei Tutu Ababio praised the government for the hospital. The contractor for the project, Albert Tackie, said all the 12 projects across the country will take two and half years to complete. Source: GBC Sunrise
