Ghana Have Hired Arsenal Coach For The 2019 AFCON.

Ghana have added Simon Copely, Arsenal’s Under 14 head coach, as part of their technical team for this year summer AFCON.
Simon Copely has worked in the Premier League for over 10 years, joining Arsenal in 2014 and working across all age groups up to U23 level.

Ghana have been drawn in Group F together with defending champions Cameroon, Benin, and Guinea Bissau.
The 2019 Africa Cup of Nations will take place in Egypt which commences between 21 June and 19 July.
The Continent will experience the first AFCON which will have 24 teams participating in the tournament.

In total, there are six groups of four and the countries that will take part include: Egypt, Madagascar, Tunisia, Senegal, Morocco, Nigeria, Uganda, Mali, Guinea, Algeria, Mauritania, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Ghana, Angola, Burundi, Cameroon, Gunie Bissau, Namibia, Zimbabwe, DR Congo, Benin, Tanzania, and South Africa.
