A lot of music enthusiasts in Ghana may not have heard of Love Kissi-Nyarko known in the industry as Mawunya but she is a sensational gospel  singer who has just released her debut album entitled “Love” which is yet to be launched.
The album is a eight-track collection produced by Joseph ‘Kwik Action’ Appiah at his S24 Recording Studio at Spintex, Accra.
The most outstanding track on the Love album is Ɛsɛwoara, a well aranged and executed piece that showcase Mawunya’s melodic voice.

Though she has been in the industry for almost two decades now, she has now assembled her own tracks compiled  into a complete album.
For the past decades, she has been a back-up vocalist for a lot of artists like Obiba Sly Collins,Yaw Sarpong, Kaakyire Kwame  Appiah, Jael Wiafe, Elder Collins Amponsah, Nana Yaw Asare, Fatau Keita, Shadrach Adjei popularly known in the industry  as Naterial(MTN Hitmaker 1 Winner) and the Late Michael Dwamena.
Mawunya has make it possible to come out strongly to announce her own songs with amalgamation of styles including Gospel Reggae and Afro-Pop.
Most of the tracks are been generated from the Methodist and Presbyterian Hymns.
The hit song Ɛsɛwoara track is the blending of Twi, Ewe and Ga language.  The lyrics of the song rendered the need for human to stand in worship to glorify God for the love He bestowed on us.

Throughout the album, she allowed her melodic voice to flow and there is no a single hint she struggled on the pitches of her range.
Mawunya stated that she participating in children’s programmes such as Funworld and Kiddafest has taught her a huge lesson. She learnt that being yourself or oneself  is the most excellent channel to make a huge impact on your audience.
After releasing the Love album on digital platforms, the reactions emanating from audience has proved emphatically that Mawunya putting her effort to be herself was a perfect move.

Dr. Kwame Nkrumah has been the first president that started the free education from the formerly elementary school getting through to the Secondary and the Technical schools to Universities.
