UNESCO And Farm Radio International Pushes NCA To Grant More Frequencies To Communities. The Unite Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in collaboration with Farm Radio International have asked the National Communication Authority (NCA) to grant more frequencies to communities in order to engender the sprouting a lot of community radios. In a statement, UNESCO said that “ Government must endeavour to release more frequencies to community radio stations and protect the development of community radio stations in Ghana”. The statement came as necessity as we celebrate World Radio Day today in order to acknowledge the relevant of radio and how radio contributed to the development of a society and a country.
