He told the High Court he does not have any evidence to back the lies, neither can he afford the 25 million Ghana cedis the plaintiff was demanding as damages. UNESCO And Farm Radio International Pushes NCA To Grant More Frequencies To Communities. The Unite Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in collaboration with Farm Radio International have asked the National Communication Authority (NCA) to grant more frequencies to communities in order to engender the sprouting a lot of community radios. In a statement, UNESCO said that “ Government must endeavour to release more frequencies to community radio stations and protect the development of community radio stations in Ghana”. The statement came as necessity as we celebrate World Radio Day today in order to acknowledge the relevant of radio and how radio contributed to the development of a society and a country. This follows the GFA president Kurt ES Okraku’s    visit to the headquarters of the kit sponsors of the National teams (Black Stars and other teams) in Germany.  Kurt E. S Okraku GFA President  GFA President Kurt Edwin Simeon Okraku requested for some support from PUMA for the development of grassroots football in the country. In response to his request, PUMA delivered 1000 footballs to the GFA to be distributed to the Regional football Associations. Each RFA will receive 100 footballs to be used as match balls for the regional leagues which will commence next month. Businesses told to take advantage of AfCFTA February 07, 2020 Business Alan Kyeremanten The African Goose Summit 2020 has urged entrepreneurs and the business community to take advantage of the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA) to scale up performance when fully operational. According to the CEO of Spektra Global, organiser’s of the summit, William Evans Halm, the overall agenda of the policy must be explored to reflect the total meaning of the agreement. Speaking after the African Goose Summit 2020 in Accra, Mr Halm urged small and micro enterprises to take advantage of AfCFTA. “You must know what's contained in the agreement, partner others toward the implementation of the Africa Continental Free Trade Agreement", he said.
